As part of the Marine Geology course, Dr. Khalid Al-Ramadan, his students, Mr. Mohammad Al-Ameer (Diving instructor), and Ali AlDarbi (Diving Course director) had adventurous dives in Haql at the Gulf of Aqaba. King Abdullah coral reef sites were explored by scuba diving down to 24-meter depth.
Marine Geology involves studying the seafloor sediments and structures and processes. One of the best ways to learn about this subject and to get to know the lithogenous and biogenous components is to get out there yourself to see some of the amazing corals and associated marine organisms.
